**MrPrice monopolizing the culture of today's youth.**

somewhere there is always someone wearing something from Mr Price. A home in the slums or a home in Mt.Edgecombe has an item from Mr Price Home, no doubt. Its reasonable in price, sometimes beyond reasonable and down right cheap. That doesn't mean that the quality appears cheap all the time, u get what you pay for and if you're lucky u get a better bargain than u think.

Well at least ur friend or your neighbour think that too, and they will, without doubt, go out and get the same as you and display it without a care for your individuality or uncanny eye for good buys. That's because Mr Price is bulk, bulk for the bulk of South African consumers starving for affordable "style" imitations, deals and "SALE's". So what caught my eye was the "Fashion Blog" on the website...

"Everybody's Somebody with Mr.P" - damn straight only they mixed the words around, it should say "Somebody is Mr.P's Everybody".

... so this blog seems like a good idea to the average fashion fanatic in South Africa. Thinking it's to do with Mr Price clothing items, their inspirations, trends for the winter season... or even collections and outfits they've put together. No. It is far from it. The relevance to Mr Price is hard to establish. Oversees designers are featured, clothing items the average south African can only dream about purchasing, or if they can will have to do over the Internet anyway. Okay okay there is the occasional reference to the SA related fashion world... but its not the main concept. weird if u ask me.
